Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff vs. Paris Hilton

So, what's wrong with the war? What's wrong with the citizens of the United States? What's wrong with the media?

Today, it was being announced that the Chariman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (the highest position in our military) would not be asked to serve the customary second 2-year term. Instead he would leave and be replaced by an Admiral.

During this announcement, the national media cut away from that coverage to cover the Paris Hilton hearing. They felt it was a more important story.

That last paragraph is the answer to my questions in the first paragraph.
