Stop the Presses Again!!! - Palin is Evil

I couldn't believe it:

"She gladly accepted gifts from merchants: A free "awesome facial" she raved about in a thank-you note to a spa. The "absolutely gorgeous flowers" she received from a welding supply
store. Even fresh salmon to take home.

She also stepped in to help friends or neighbors with City Hall dealings. She asked the City Council to add a friend to the list of speakers at a 2002 meeting -- and then the friend got up and asked them to give his radio station advertising business."

OH MY GOD!!!!

Can you believe how EVIL this woman is?

She accepted a facial, some flowers and some fish as gifts!!! And, she helped a citizen speak at a City Council meeting and HE SPOKE!

I am OUTRAGED!!!

In other news, Obama purchased his home with the help of a man currently under felony indictment. And, Obama hangs out with a terrorist that wishes he could have blown up more things. And, he sat in a church for years with a Pastor who thinks white people are evil. But let's not bother researching that.

The Media disgusts me.

Aloha.

Main Street vs. Wall Street

If I hear this expression one more time, I am going to vomit.

Look at your main street. Even in Lake Odessa, I see a number of companies that are listed on wall street. Looking at my neighbors, I see a lot of people that have stock investments.

This is a BS phrase!

This is an attempt to further class warfare and class strife in an attempt to lead us further toward socialism.

The implication of the phrase is that Wall Street and making money is bad. Anyone who has more money than me is bad.

Main Street. Who could be against that? Evil Wall Street, that's who.

Everyone better start brushing off the phrase "comrade". We're going to be using it soon and often.

Aloha.

This is beyond my belief

CNN posted a commentary by Campbell Brown. It was titled "Commentary: Sexist treatment of Palin must end". I refuse to drive any traffic to CNN so will not be posting the link. I recommend you don't read it, unless you have already taken an extra dose of your blood-pressure medicine. In fact, I don't recommend continuing reading my blog unless you are current on your meds.

My initial reaction was one of excitement. I was excited that a relatively big name, main-stream media person was finally calling for an end to the sexist treatment of Palin.

Then I read the article. Here are some quotes:

"I call upon the McCain campaign to stop treating Sarah Palin like she is a delicate flower who will wilt at any moment."

"By treating Sarah Palin differently from other candidates in this race, you are not showing her the respect she deserves.

Free Sarah Palin.

Free her from the chauvinistic chains you are binding her with."

I am beyond words. Whatever hope I had that journalistic professionalism existed in the main-stream media is gone.

I don't know what an appropriate response is. Right now all suggestions I have would be inappropriate.

I am truly shocked. I was expecting a call to the MSM to stop asking questions like "what will she do with the kids while she's working." Instead, I get a partisan attack.

Time for the people to take back the media. The elite idiots who have it now have lost the privilege.

Aloha.

Stop the Presses!!! - Clay Aiken is gay!!!

http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/09/23/clay.aiken.ap/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

This shouldn't be a headline even on a slow news day.

In other breaking news...

Adam is dead.

The big ball of glowing yellow that appears in the sky each morning is called the...Sun.

The sky is blue.

The Village People are gay.

Rush Limbaugh is a conservative and Al Gore is a liberal.

And finally...Dan knows sarcasm.

11-year old girl field strips and reassembles an AR-15 in under 1 minute

You need to watch this video:

http://www.geekologie.com/2008/09/11year_old_girl_field_strips_a_1.php

Now, technically, she didn't take off the hand-guards...but I'm being picky. I have field stripped an M-16 and I can tell you that she is performing all of the steps (except for the aforementioned hard-guards). I am very impressed. I believe my record was 1 minute 23 seconds. She is fast.

AIG Bailout

http://money.cnn.com/2008/09/16/news/companies/AIG/index.htm?eref=rss_topstories

We just loaned $278.52 per person in the United States to prop up a private company. So, out of my family's pocket, we just spent $1,114.08 for the next two years because someone else was stupid/greedy. To be fair, we will get 8% interest after two years. So, $91.8 billion dollars will be coming back to us in 2 years.

Nice.

Glad we didn't use that money to drill for oil or invest in alternative energy or educate our children or defend our nation.

I believe, on principle, bailing out corporations with Federal funds is wrong.
