Last One for Today

OK, maybe it is just me and my conservative view point...but I find these shirts to be the funniest things I have seen in a long time.

Win the war. Confirm the judges. Cut the taxes. Control the spending. Secure the border.

Then, you have to dig for this one:

Know thy Enemy - Fun Facts About Terrorists
They enjoy blowing themselves up, and we enjoy blowing them up. You'd think we would get along better.

My favorite line:

LOL and amen.

No one should have a chance to assult the SoS. If you hear what happened/who was asleep at the wheel, let me know. If I hear, I'll update.

In the beginning...

http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory?id=3710641

"Planets and much on them, including humans, come from dust mostly from dying stars. But where did the dust that helped form those early stars come from?"

"A NASA telescope may have spotted one of the answers. It's in the wind bursting out of super-massive black holes."

I think I've read this somewhere before...

Genesis 1

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

Genesis 2:7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being

SysAdmin Day!!!!

http://www.sysadminday.com/

I have heard many responses regarding SysAdmin Day. Most of them boil down to "Gee, was that today?" So here is your 9 month+ warning. If someone can have a child in that amount of time, you should be able to put together a good SysAdmin Day celebration. Whoever you are reading this, make it happen. It doesn't even have to be for me.

The link is worth following too.

How did Israel do that?

Since the Syrian raid, I have been wondering exactly how they pulled it off. It was truly another Israeli miracle. Here is one perspective on how they did it:

Progress in Iraq Revisited

I think it would be a good time to review this post:

http://gung-ho-man.blogspot.com/2006/12/progress-in-iraq.html

Since then, our KIA count has gone up, but is still under 4000. And, we just announce the lowest monthly casualties in a long time.

We are making progress and I stand by my original post. (And am surprised by how much I still agree with it.)

Aloha.
