FAIL: Congress tried to intimidate businesses, but it FAILED!

So, the summary is that

1. Congress passes a massive tax and spend bill.
2. Companies tell everyone that they are going to have to pay the tax.
3. Congressman Waxman gets offended and tries to grill/intimidate businesses that told everyone that.
4. Someone educates Waxman (the Chair of the Energy and COMMERCE committee).
5. Waxman realizes that the company were following the law by notifying people how and when they did.
6. Waxman quietly cancels attempt to grill/intimidate businesses.

He is the FREAKING CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMERCE COMMITTEE!!!! And he doesn't know about FASB and GAAP???? I don't even have my MBA yet and I know about them.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!

It shows that he didn't do any research or know what the **** he was talking about. He was simply offended and reacted emotionally by trying to bully people.

Yet another sign of socialism and socialist tactics.
